Welcome to the JISA Campion Community
JISA Campion acknowledges the Wurundjeri people of the Kulin nation who are the traditional custodians of the land upon which meet and pray, we pay our respect to the elders both past and present.
We are hosted on this site and in this place by the generosity of the Campion House Jesuit community.
We are a community of welcome and prayer. Our team of Ignatian Spiritual Directors, Givers of the Spiritual Exercises, and Ignatian Retreats, offer programs and retreats, which are steeped in the spirituality of Saint Ignatius of Loyola (1491-1556).
Ignatian Spirituality is about finding God in all things. This enables us to find purpose, meaning, light and joy in everything that crosses our path of life. Relationships, events, feelings, and what happens to us, are all vehicles for God to lead me towards a richer life.
We began in 1978 with the goal of offering retreats based on the Spiritual Exercises of Saint Ignatius of Loyola. We have grown since then and now offers a diversity of programs:

Ignatian Spirituality helps you in building a personal relationship with Jesus. It includes intimate dialogue with Christ and reflections on how God is present in your daily life. With JISA Campion, you are invited to deepen your ability to discern the way God speaks to you, to hear God’s voice in the depths of your heart and life.
Facilities
Campion House generously offers the JISA Campion Community space for day program retreats, there are spiritual direction rooms, a beautiful library and meeting rooms for retreatants to pray and meet.
Our residential retreats are run from other retreat centres in Victoria, as well as JISA Sevenhill in SA and JISA Canisius in NSW.
Gardens
The gardens surrounding Campion House provide opportunities for retreatants to rest, to reflect on the seasons of creation and to delight in God’s beauty.
Labyrinth
A labyrinth is an ancient symbol symbolising wholeness.
Walking the labyrinth enables you to quieten your mind through contemplation and prayer. Begin on the outside and weave your way inwards, while reflecting on each step and turn, as you trace the “Way of Ignatius.”
Outreach Programs
WE COME TO YOU
Our JISA Campion Outreach Teams are available to work in your parish, school, community, or organisation. We can come to you wherever you are located and help build up the prayer life and spirituality of your community.
Experienced Spiritual Directors will work closely with you in developing a program what will allow participants to deepen their personal prayer life and relationship with God, whether they be prayer days, retreats, spirituality programs and Spiritual Direction.

Emmaus Spirituality Ministry
Emmaus Centre for Spirituality is a joint ministry of JISA Campion and the Diocese of Sale. The Emmaus Spirituality Ministry support parishes, groups, teams and individuals across the Diocese.
We can offer days of reflection and prayer, retreats, individual spiritual direction in the Ignatian tradition and the Full Spiritual Exercises of St Ignatius. For more information, contact Geraldine Naismith via telephone 1300 392 636.
