May God be always at the centre, may we constantly search for what we can do in God’s greater service, and may we carry it out in the best possible way, with love, and detached from all else. May we have a deeply personal ‘sense’ of God.
Pedro Arrupe SJ [Acta Romana XVIII(1980-1981)986-988].

All are called to enter into the liberty of Christ.

Ignatian formation with the spiritual exercises, discernment and spiritual conversation. For individuals and groups.

Ignatian methods of reflection and prayer engage our whole life journey, bringing to light our desires, and bringing us into personal relationship with Jesus and the mystery of God. What happens then is freely up to God.

Setting out to Serve. Ignatian formation nourishes the relationships in our journey of service, an energy outwards from myself to others, an ever widening circle of freedom to let God work through me, through us.

We use contemporary spiritual exercises for individuals and groups, creatively developed for today by JISA’s First Spiritual Exercises Ministry and can provide practical training to give them in your community.

The exercises offer forms of refection and prayer to engage me through different ways of knowing and feeling. Some call upon my imagination and memory, others on my wise and keen intellect, others still on my heartfelt understanding. Most will awaken in me deep feelings, such as love, sorrow, joy, generosity, and inner peace. They all value my life experience, gently opening it, just as they open the life of Jesus. They knit both stories together where they belong, in the one weave of the living kingdom of God. Michael Hansen SJ

We facilitate and teach a practice of Ignatian spiritual conversation – one of the great arts of helping another person and aligned with the Synodal way.

Ignatius encourages – be slow to speak, listen quietly, treat others as equals, be humble and sincere, speak with kindness and love, and see Jesus in each person.

We offer one-off experiences, and suites or series, practically adapted to your focus and desires, with training possible for receivers. Program examples include:
