What is God asking of me?

30 July @ 4:00 pm - 1 August @ 12:00 pm

How do I know when God is speaking to me? Discerning the voice of God

God speaks to us in the depths of our being, not off the top of our heads. The depths of ourselves are not in our reasoning and ideas, still less in someone else’s reasoning and ideas. If we are to find God, we must learn to listen to these depths, to the emotions and feelings which we experience in prayer and out of it.” In Search of a Way Gerry Hughes SJ

The format of this weekend retreat will be communal prayer and input each morning, followed by silent prayer time and group sharing. There may be opportunity for individual spiritual direction. In this retreat we will explore ways to get in touch with our “depths of our being.”
