A question that invites us to get in touch with the very core of our being.
Gerard Hughes SJ tells us in A Pathway to Freedom: “God speaks to us in the depths of our being, not off the tops of our heads. The depths of ourselves are not in our reasoning and ideas, still less in someone else’s reasoning and ideas. If we are to find God, we must learn to listen to these depths to the emotions we experience in prayer and out of it.”
If you ever wonder what God may be asking of you, come and join us as we explore ways of discerning the voice of God speaking to us at the core of our being.
During this weekend retreat we will explore some of the ways we can discern the voice of the Good Spirit so that we can follow the path that is most life-giving for us. This will include praying with scripture, Imaginative contemplation, sacred conversation, and other ways taught to us by St. Ignatius Loyola.
