17 October @ 7:00 pm - 22 October @ 12:00 pm

Drawn to follow the road of fire

Residential Retreat at the base of the Dandenong’s Victoria
with Sr Kathleen Duffy SSJ online from the US 4hrs per day

Pierre Teilhard de Chardin SJ is one of the most influential mystics of the 20th century. His explanation of the purpose and direction of evolution in Christ is a significant contribution to 21st century theology and science. Teilhard experienced many challenges in his life, yet despite the struggle and pain, he was able to encounter Christ in it, seeing each struggle as the way of growth, integration and creativity. Teilhard’s faith and spirituality of creation give us resources for the personal and global struggles of our world today.

Sister of St Joseph, Kathleen Duffy, PhD Physics will offer her expertise on Teilhard. Kathleen has written extensively on his scientific insights in the light of faith. Sr Kathleen will present a talk and a spiritual exercise twice a day, and invite questions and discussion for participants to pray and share
