There are places that call us to still and be …
places of reflection …
quiet, wild, timeless places that overflow the soul …
and draw us in to the silence of our own heartland.
Noel Davis
This contemplative walk is along the beaches of Semaphore, Adelaide. We allow the sea air, the sound of waves and the feel of soft sand to sooth our senses. We invite God to speak to us through the ecology and beauty of a coastal environment on the edge of our city.
This is a (mostly) silent walk beginning with prayer and ending with shared reflection.
The Walk: The exposed 7 km walk is graded as ‘Easy’ and is suitable for most ages and fitness levels. We will tread the walking/cycling path, walk on the sand and along the water’s edge.
