A pilgrimage day at Minjerribah (North Stradbroke)

Saturday, 25 March @ 8:30 am - 5:00 pm

Join us for a Pilgrimage Day at Minjerribah (North Stradbroke Island)

Renew our commitment to our Common Home on the tranquil beauty of the Island, known by the traditional owners of the land, the Quandamooke people, as Minjerribah.

Our pilgrimage day will include contemplative space for walking, deep listening, prayer, art, and reflection, as we seek to deepen our relationship with our Creator and all creation.

Make the day a spiritual and sensory experience, noticing your moments of wonder and awe, as you experience of the beauty of the ocean, lakes, and the natural vegetation of the Island. Such moments, invite a special connection with our inner selves and the mystery we call God.

As Anthony de Mello SJ writes Any route to God has to be a route toward silence. If you want to reach union with God someday, you must begin with silence.
